Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Envoi Mail handles, why, where it is kept and for how long. Envoi Mail is operated by Envoi, Inc., a Florida corporation (Florida Division of Corporations document P18000057647), 950 S. River Road #867, Englewood, FL 34223, United States ("Envoi", "we", "us").
What we handle
Account information
Your email address, display name, a one-way hash of your password, any app passwords and two-factor settings you create, and your storage usage.
Your content
The email you send and receive, and the calendars, contacts, files, filters and settings you store in the service. We process this content only to provide the service to you.
Technical records
Connection and delivery records: IP addresses, timestamps, sign-in successes and failures, and the sender, recipients, size and outcome of each message our servers deliver. These are used to deliver mail, keep the service secure, detect abuse and diagnose problems.
Automated checks on mail
Every incoming message is checked automatically: sender authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC and ARC), spam filtering, and a virus scan of attachments. Messages that fail these checks may be placed in your Junk folder or refused. These checks are automated; no person reads your mail as part of them. Moving a message into or out of Junk may be used to improve the spam filter for your account.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, show advertising, or use the content of your mail to build profiles or train AI models. We do not read your mail, except when you ask us to for support, or when required by law as described below.
Where your information is stored
All account data and content is stored in the United States, on servers we operate at Akamai Connected Cloud (Linode) in Chicago, Illinois and Washington, D.C., with a coordination server in Atlanta, Georgia. It is encrypted in transit between our servers.

Mail you send is, of course, delivered to your recipients' mail providers.
How long we keep it

Security
Connections to the service require encryption (TLS). Passwords are stored only as one-way hashes. Server administration is limited to a private network, and access to production systems is restricted to Envoi personnel who need it to run the service.
Legal requests
We disclose account information or content only when required by valid legal process under US law, and we will tell you about a request before disclosing unless the law forbids it.
Your choices and rights
You can view, export and delete your mail, calendars, contacts and files at any time using webmail or any standard mail, calendar or contacts app. You can ask us for a copy of your account information, to correct it, or to close your account and delete your data, by writing to privacy@envoimail.us. If you are a California resident you have the right to know, delete and correct personal information, and we do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined in the CCPA.
Children
Envoi Mail is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly create accounts for them.
Changes
If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
